Head Office & Primary Operations Hub
Mount Barker Depot
Southern Haulage’s main depot is conveniently located on Albany Highway, 2km north of town centre. This depot is also the location of Southern Haulages head offices, mechanical workshop, engineering workshop, trailer maintenance hanger and accredited weighbridge.
Several of Southern Haulages combinations are based out of the Mount Barker depot exclusively due to the works they undertake regarding proximity. The equipment for the purpose of hauling for Mt Barker Chicken, liquid fertiliser and our bulk tipper combinations servicing their directly engaged customers, all have their equipment based out of the Mt Barker depot.
Supporting Regional Operations
Albany Depot
Southern Haulages Albany depot is strategically located in the Industrial Area on Copal Road.
The depot has basic facilities which include wash down bay, for the purpose of routine fleet washing and tipper bowl hygiene, and storage with routine maintenance inventory stock, tyres, grease, fluids etc.
All Southern Haulages combinations for the purpose of hauling mineral sands for AustSand and wood chip for WAPRES are based out of our Albany depot for proximity purposes, as well as CSBP interworks combinations if favourable for the operators place of residence.
